Thanks to our sponsors, speakers, and all participants MindEx 2015 was a huge success!
Day 1 MindEx Conference
The MindEx Conference was co-hosted by the Mind First Foundation and the Harvard Personal Genome Project (PGP). The PGP has worked since 2005 to establish an open-source ecosystem of volunteered genomic data. The Mind First Foundation is a non-profit affiliate of the PGP, and is committed to leveraging the power of novel research methods (including the PGP’s data ecosystem) to advance research on brain and mind. This year our U.S. conference agenda will include the usual PGP agenda of genomes and traits, but for the first time, there will be added focus on mind and behavior.
Speakers included Dr. George Church, Dr. Ed Boyden, Dr. Martine Rothblatt, Dr. Ron Kessler, Dr. Richard Wrangham, and more.

Day 2 PG-Palooza Labs Day
This year the MFF was the host for the PGP labs event in Cambridge, MA.
The Mind First Foundation works closely with the PGP and is committed to leveraging the power of novel research methods (including the PGP’s data ecosystem) to better understand the brain and mind. In years past, the PGP has invited numerous labs from around the world to participate in a hands-on, participatory science fair; hundreds of volunteers interested in participating in important research.

I do hope that there will be some event in the future in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina, as I am unable to travel. I am very interested in this, and am certain attendance could be excellent, as this is a highly traveled area.
